As 2016 begins to wrap up, thoughts of 2017 begin to shape up. Wouldn’t a crystal ball be nice right now?
A new president taking office, the first with a strong business background – how will that impact us, the smaller enterprises,
and the backbone of our economy?
If we allow this thought to overwhelm us, we will become paralyzed in our business operations. The best advice is to keep on
doing what you do best, those services and products that your customers need and rely upon, and your employees can deliver
For me and my business, HBR LLC, 2017 will mark 12 years of providing project support to small business owners and
executives. It will also mark the introduction of a new service, Local Sourcing Connector, a formalization of a service that
I have provided for over 40 years. It certainly took me long enough to have the aha moment with this one!
We are all so busy in our lives – home-family-work – that we get into routines that are just easier to work within versus
finding new options. Local Sourcing Connector is about providing that opportunity to look beyond usual business sources and
find new options, perhaps some alternatives to existing or new creative approaches to meet business requirements. And, it also
has a community support aspect – finding sources within our greater Lehigh Valley area – which is the community we chose
for our business and in which our employees live.
I invite you to follow along with me on this new journey for 2017. I am taking my business play book and attempting to
add new pages! Local Sourcing Connector embodies all the reasons I opened my business 12 years ago – helping owners
and executives through the varied experience and network developed over 40 years in the community I am passionate about.
What new aspect will you be bringing to your business in 2017? Let’s connect and share.
